The life span of the Moque is almost 100 years. The first Aba Ratibi Mosque was voluntarily donated as Aiyepe Central Mosque by our forefathers based on request by the generality of Aiyepe Muslim Umarh.

BRIEF PROFILE OF ILAKAN MUSLIM COMMUNITY, ILAKAN-AIYEPE IJEBU

The Ilakan Muslim community is one of the communities that makes up the Aiyepe Muslim Community. It was established by our forefathers. It has its own mosque where only five times daily prayers are prayed. It runs a Quranic and Islamic Education for members of the community at a different location within Ilakan Community in Aiyepe Ijebu. It operates Asalatul and also supports members of the community in the area of Welfare. It organises Islamic Events during and after Ramadan. It is run by the executive council led by Alhaji (Chief) Rasaki Saka with Mr Shakiru Ogundalu as the general secretary and Mr Sikiru Oyeyemi as the treasurer. The executive council are supported by different sub committees for the purpose of executing the aims and objectives of the Muslim Community.

BRIEF PROFILE OF ODOLUBISANWA, MUSLIM COMMUNITY, ODOLUBISANWA, AIYEPE-IJEBU

Islamic Religion in Odolubisanwa is as old as Islam in Aiyepe Community.

Odolubisanwa Muslim Community has been prominent in Islamic Leadership in Aiyepe; producing both Religious and Social Muslim frontliners like Late Abdul Kadir Ladejobi; Kasumu Elesin; Fowosere’s; Sangonuga’s; Rufai Olurombi and several others.

The Olubisanwa Ratibi Mosque was reconstructed and commission in 1978 and stii meets the present day’s requirement of a Masjid.

BRIEF PROFILE OF AFO MUSLIM COMMUNITY, AFO, AIYEPE-IJEBU

The ratibi mosque was built in 1952. The mosque was renovated in 2009 by a great philanthropist – Late Chief Abdul Ganiu Kayode Sodiq, Asiwaju of Aiyepe. The Imam of the mosque and some other personalities were turbaned on the 18th of February, 2024.
